I just came back from my Korean Language Class, and feels like sharing what I've learnt . &I can practise at the same time. Why not? ㅋㅋㅋㅋ (*A form of laughing sound)
I was taught to create a fine sentence from the previous lesson and just now, Example: I prefer Arsenal to Man-U. (JUST EXAMPLE EH, MAN-U FANS) In korean, their sentence will be created like this : (Man-U boda neum Arsenal Jo a hae yo) Man-U than Arsenal I like.
Yeah, Korean language has it's rule and I really need to practise more and practise in order for me to read, write and speak them out fluently. Hwaiting! Besides that, I've learnt how to speak/read/write Korean numbers from 0-99 at home all by myself (From website)! I just wanna share with you guys, and you guys can learn them tgt with me too.
-How to speak time in Korean? They have two groupings of Korean- Native and Sino For numeral system.
Because to tell the time in Korean, you actually have to learn how to count to 60 in Korean. But I learnt how to count to 100, lol. Kiasu Singaporean. Native Korean (Number 1 to 10) Hana, Tul, Set, Net, Tasot, Yosot, Ilgop, Yodol, Ahop, Yol.
&As for Sino Korean( Number 0 to 10) Jelo, Ill, Eee, Sam, Sa, Oh, Yuk, Chil, Pal, Guk, Ship.
See the difference between both of them? Sino Korean actually sounds more alike Chinese. Sino Korean's ( 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60) Ship, Ee-ship, Sam-ship, Sa-ship, Oh-ship, Yuk-ship
Easy peasy 123 right, but Native Korean is totally different thing.
I guess I did not confuse you guys. Actually to tell time in Korean Language, they have their own rule, you have to use Native Korean no. in 시 (hour) which is pronounced like she. &Sino Korean no. in Minute (Boon/bun)
Take example the time now is 2:34. 2- Tul (Native Korean) Hour- Shi 34 - Sam ship sa (Sino Korean) Minute- boon/bun In korean: Tul shi Sam ship sa bun
In overall, to tell time in korean, it's not difficult at all right. I just find it lechey, like time 2:34, I still have to pronounce so long. Lol. *Anyway everything's above is written by myself, not copying from website okeyyyyyzzz!
Woah, I think I can start giving free basic coaching here already.
* As what I've mentioned earlier on, I wanted to learn Korean Culture too, besides their language (communication). But my song sae nim only teach communications. So I guess I have to only find their Korean Culture from website.
Sigh, if only I have an authentic Korean friend who knows how to speak English/Mandarin. :-/
Korean Culture- How to bow on New Year's Day.
