The Ninth of August, it is our Singapore' 45th Birthday. or 44th, I forgot how old is our Nation already. :B
And I guessed everyone remembers how our Singapore pledge goes like, and today I received a really hilarious National Day message from Edwin, and it goes like this, instead of "We, the citizens of Singapore." Some people changed to
"We, the passengers of MRT, poise ourselves as 1 united kiasu. Regardless of pregnant women, elderly and little children, to chiong in when the doors are open, based on singaporeans who are greedy, so as to achieve seats to sit, also to sleep and progress for our greediness, etc etc."

Hahaha, I have to agree with this because most Singaporeans are famous for Kiasu.

I still remembered this day of Last year, I was wearing red&white apparels, one orchid flower on my head in order to dgo with our National Day..

And I had a really fun and memorable National day last year..

While this year, I wasnt (fill in the blank) like last year, I wore only a simple outfit. And although everything is screwed up and not going with our today's plan but still, I had enjoyed a chilling National Day with Cherlyn, Gavin&his friends,with some schoolmates too. :) The fireworks are great and marvellous, my friends were telling me watching fireworks= watching our income taxes pi-piat gone.
Anyway I wanna snap the pictures of the fireworks but my camera wasnt working well at night, so here is a picture of fireworks taken few weeks ago during NDP rehearsal. :B Hahah, but I bet alot of yaw been to Marina Square or Esplanade for the fireworks too huh. :D
Speaking about the NDP rehearsal, I had something to be proud with, for your information! I performed once on year 2005 NDP before, Pingyi and my sec school, Springfield were performing as one military band, and I still remembered I was marching with my trumpet on the starting of the whole NDP perfomance. Do not laugh! I know how to play basic Do-re-me or even a simple song okay, but that was so long time ago...
