But everything had changed after a car accident.
The car in which Jacqueline traveled. She was hit by another car that was driven by a 17-year old male student while on his way home after drinking a couple of hard packs with his friends. This was in December 1999.

After the accident Jacqueline has needed over 40 operations.

Jacqueline was caught in the burning car and her body was heavily burnt during around 45 seconds.

Without a left eyelid Jacquie needs eye drops to keep her vision.

Now 20 year old, the driver still cannot forgive himself for driving drunk on that night three years ago.

Not everyone who gets hit with a car dies. This picture was taken 4 years after the accident and the doctors are still working on Jacqueline, whose body was covered with 60% severe burnings.

So please drivers..
Be careful when you're driving, no handphone, no phone-calls, no drinking before that or no multi-tasking and ONLY concentrate while driving! You may ruin a person's life after an car accident.
&Especially those with no car/bike licenses, please stay away and never think of showing off to your female friends that you actually able to ride or anything. It's freaking dangerous, y'know. I was a live example. Fortunately, Im still typing alive here when my friend told me that he actually got no bike license right after he sent me home with his bike... *my jaws dropped*
Although I got home safely, but I swear I should have give him few punches because I was blaming him for not telling me earlier. If I know, I wont be riding his bike either. Heh (A)
But anyway, deep in my heart, I really respect Jacqueline Saburido. Despite with her disfiguried body hmmm after a number of operations, Im not trying to be rude but yeah I salute her because she still have the courage to choose to carry on with her life...
while I wont.
