The Rice Dumpling Festival (Duan Wu Festival) is a widely celebrated festival among the Chinese community. Days or even weeks before this festival, I have already seen more of these Rice Dumplings being sold everywhere. These Rice dumplings comes in a few shapes, but usually in the shape of a pryamid, sizes and in many different types of fillings.

Wrapping a dumpling neatly is a skill which is passed down through families as are the Chinese recipes. Rice Dumpling-making is usually a family event with everyone helping out.
I personally do not know how to make them but love to eat them, especially rice dumpling which made by my family ! They are simply delicious and fill with so much love too hehe.
Today, I had 2 super delicious Rice Dumplings which made by my gramp. Nope, I actually had more than 10. I had been eating them almost every day before the festival anyway hahahahaha.
But you know this is once a year occassion and it's too bad that I only get to eat them once a year :(

This is another type of Rice Dumpling which also made by my gramp and aunties too ^^ in a smaller size which has no filling inside but can be eaten with sugar, red bean paste or kaya. Super nice!
